Botanical Garden of the University of Latvia (LU Botāniskais dārzs), Rīga

The Botanical Garden of the University of Latvia is in Rīga, at Kandavas iela 2.

As of January 2023 the garden held unusual light installations - a winter walk called “Gaisma tumsā” (Light in the Dark). Every evening visitors could learn about the history of the garden and look into the world of botany: the installations covered rare insects no longer found in the wild and ones invisible to the human eye, historical events and more.

The hours at the time were: every evening from 17:00 to 22:00, with entry to the event until 21:00. Prices: 8 to 12 euro, a family ticket (2+2) 32 euro, children under 5 free.
