Valguma pasaule is a quiet, beautiful spot in the forest in Ķemeri National Park, 63 km from Rīga - about an hour's drive. Many people have been here in summer, walking the barefoot trail, but there is something to do in winter too: walk the Art Trail (Mākslas taka), listen to the sound of the wind, take unusual pictures on the magic chair and find your own name in the huge labyrinth.

Around 100 large-format photographs are set out along the Art Trail. One loop is the nature of New Zealand: more than forty large-format pictures by Andris Apse, who was nominated as New Zealand's nature landscape master of 2020. The other walking loop is Latvian nature - Ķemeri National Park in photographs by Andris Eglītis.

Besides the photographs, the trail has a name-day labyrinth, optical illusions, photo surprises, a wind bell and a Leonardo da Vinci mirror pavilion.

Getting there and what it costs

Cars are left at the roadside by the gate, and from there it is a walk to the ticket office. Admission to the Art Trail in 2021: adults 5 euro, schoolchildren, pensioners and people with disabilities 4 euro, preschool children free. At that time the trail was open only at weekends - Saturdays and Sundays from 13:00 to 19:00.
