Staldzene bluff (Staldzenes stāvkrasts)
Staldzenes stāvkrasts, the Staldzene bluff, is the highest coastal bluff in Latvia.
For roughly 400 metres the face exposes sediments laid down at different stages in the development of the Baltic Sea. The bank is 4 to 8 metres high, though it used to reach 12 metres.
Tree snags washed up by the sea lie on the shore.
Where it is
The bluff is 10 km from Ventspils.
