The OZMO mural "Sirēna, vējš, jūra un brīvība" in Liepāja

At Pasta iela 24 in Liepāja is the mural "Sirēna, vējš, jūra un brīvība" (Siren, wind, sea and freedom), the work of the world-renowned graffiti artist OZMO.

The mural shows symbolic elements characteristic of Liepāja in contemporary and culturally and historically significant images. It highlights the importance of the sea in the city's daily life: the sea appears as the sea god Neptune, the alluring and captivating city as a beautiful woman, a mermaid, and a motif of its own is the Liepāja wind.

According to the 2023 publication, the work was included among the hundred best murals of Street Art Cities, the largest urban art community.
