Waterfall on the Venta in Kuldīga

<p>At the end of April the annual spring show begins on the Venta: vimba, a fish of the bream family, move up the Venta and try to leap onto the top of the waterfall.</p>
<p>At the same time Kuldīga holds the Flying Fish Festival; in 2022 it was the 16th. The programme includes a spring market, various events, exhibitions and concerts, and of course the jumping fish.</p>
