Svitene Manor (Svitenes muiža)

<p>The palace at Svitene was built in the 19th century in the classicist style. Brochures say that some of the decorative finish of its grand interior survives inside. As of 2021 the manor housed a music school and an art school.</p><p>The park was laid out at the same time as the palace was built, and 47 exotic species of tree grow in it. The park itself is fairly large and lies on both banks of the small Svitene river.
