Sabiles Leļļu Pilsētiņa doll town in Sabile

<p>Sabiles Leļļu Pilsētiņa, the doll town, is in the yard of a house at Rīgas iela 17 in Sabile.</p>
<p>It all began when a Sabile resident, Daina Kučere, made the first two dolls, Līga and Jānis. She put them in her own yard to please the townspeople and visitors. More and more dolls followed, and by 2021 a whole town of dolls had grown in the yard.</p>
<p>The dolls are all different: people of various trades, ordinary people busy with household chores, nineties lads in tracksuits, children, parents with prams.</p>
<h3>Visiting</h3>
<p>Address: Rīgas iela 17, Sabile. As of 2021 the doll garden could be visited at any time of year and free of charge, but there is a box in the middle of the yard for donations towards clothes for the dolls.</p>
