Latvian Museum of Natural History (Latvijas Nacionālais dabas muzejs), Rīga

The Latvian Museum of Natural History in Rīga occupies five floors, with an educational display that is both interactive and visual. Its holdings run to more than 194,000 items, and various thematic exhibitions are shown periodically.
The collection is made up of six departments:

</ul>
The museum is of interest to children and adults alike. The interactive exhibits can be touched, pressed and moved. For children there are worksheets with tasks and questions to fill in during the visit. An hour is enough to see everything.

Prices as of 2022: adults 3.50 euro, students and pensioners 2.50 euro, schoolchildren 1.50 euro. Free admission was then available on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 16:30 to 17:00 and on Thursday from 18:00 to 19:00 - though half an hour is not much for this museum.
