Kolotilovka, Rūķīši

<p>Kolotilovka lies not far from Rīga, in the village of Rūķīši. Nikolajs Kolotilo, the creator of Kolotilovka, bought up several plots here and made a leisure complex of them. A good many celebrities have been his guests, and their photographs hang on the wall of the banqueting hall. According to the author of the post, Nikolajs put a great deal of effort and imagination into the exhibits shown on the grounds.</p><p>The grounds of Kolotilovka lie on both sides of the road. On the right is the leisure complex itself: a bathhouse, a banqueting hall, a pond with a very strange slide, and a hut on chicken legs that the author of the post calls a porn hut. Lenin greets you at the entrance.</p><p>On the left of the road is the island shaped like Latvia and the other exhibits: Adam and Eve, put up by Nikolajs for Latvia's centenary; a Ukrainian cottage inscribed "my house is at the edge"; a Trojan horse; unfinished cabins; and a monument to cuckolds at the entrance. Every exhibit has a subtext behind it, which can be learned from the owner of Kolotilovka.</p><h3>Practical detail</h3><ul><li>The village of Rūķīši, not far from Rīga; the place is marked in Waze as Kolotilovka.</li><li>As of 2021, entry to the grounds was free, but there was a donation jar on site.</li></ul>
